David Elaturoti's research activities
in the area of Use of Educational Radio Programme as learning resources
in schools started in 1976 when he
compiled a bibliography titled: Fifteen years of educational
broadcasting in Nigeria 1961-1976: a bibliography, which was published
by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation for distribution to schools and
other users. David also conducted a research on the use of educational
radio programme as learning resources in selected secondary schools in
Ibadan, the capital of old Oyo State, the report of which was submitted
as a Ph.D. thesis in the Department of Library, Archival and Information
Studies, University of Ibadan in 1989. David has also published five(5)
journal articles on organisation and use of educational radio
programme in Nigerian schools as listed below:

David has sustained interest in the
effective use of educational radio programme in Nigerian schools for
improved quality education for all.
